I build and run the pricing platform at Alza.cz, one of the Czech Republic’s largest online retailers. Building AI agents, multi-step workflows, and RAG systems. Helping teams use AI safely and effectively, combining automation with strong evaluation and human oversight.

Alza.cz a.s., Prague – Software Engineer → Senior Software Engineer (promoted Apr 2025)

• Joined to steady an unstable pricing system; by month five was defining the technical strategy and coordinating the team’s delivery.
• Within nine months, rebuilt it into an event-driven microservice platform that recalculates prices for ~750k SKUs up to 10 times a day, which works out to millions of price updates daily.
• Built on .NET with Kafka and RabbitMQ, deployed on Kubernetes via ArgoCD (GitOps), and instrumented end-to-end with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Built the platform’s web frontend in Angular (TypeScript) alongside the .NET services.
• Prototyping LLM-based agents to automate parts of the pricing and engineering workflow.
• Now own the platform’s technical direction and coordinate delivery across the team.

Delivered end-to-end software solutions for multiple long-term international clients on a leading freelance platform, working across industrial automation, interactive systems, IoT, and retail software.

• FONEKING (Alexandria, NSW): Extended a retail POS system and built an employee points/performance module that tracked per-employee sales and activity for managers.
• Revelation Puzzles Pty Ltd (Fyshwick): Built a customizable escape-room management platform: microcontroller-orchestrated props, real-time game-state monitoring and control tools, player comms, and dynamic media/lighting systems. Heavy use of async/await (TAP), RavenDB, LiteDB, and MQTT for IoT prop integration.
• Broadband Dynamics LLC (Scottsdale): Created a bridge between a telephony dialer and multiple CRM platforms: an ASP.NET Core REST backend paired with a companion Windows Service orchestrating real-time telephony events.
• E.Rooker (Groves): Developed a tool to manage multiple OPC servers with real-time process data visualised in a WPF UI.
• Narlson LLC (Akron): Built a high-performance HMI for 3-D sensors: real-time 3-D point-cloud visualisation, automated defect detection, and PLC-integrated conveyor systems. PCL driver wrapper, high-volume streaming, and 2-D/3-D plots, plus an auxiliary PyQtGraph + Pandas app for data analysis, with a FastAPI backend.
• Pretty Brook Solutions (New Hudson): Built reusable UI controls, led an MVVM + DI refactor, and built a client-side SignalR reactive API.
• Excite Digital Inc. (Covington): Multi-module field-service app (projects, accounts, inventory, comms) secured with OAuth2.
• MediaCall (Tashkent): P2P messenger for call-centre agents with a GSM-modem SMS gateway and crash-notification system.
